HOSPITALITY
7 Minutes and 1 Chance to make a good first impression. A smile and a helping hand won’t cost you a thing but the reward will be priceless. Our Hospitality volunteers serve on a rotating monthly basis (month on/month off) and create a welcoming environment at Grace Powell.
GRACE KIDS
We must take great care to present Jesus in a relevant and fun way to the children of our church and our community. Leading this area of ministry is a sacred trust. For as long as parents bring their children to church, it must be our deepest held conviction that those children need the church as much as their parents do.
GRACE STUDENTS
Grace Students is always looking for men and women with a deep commitment to Christ and a desire to care for middle school and high school students. Opportunities include LifeGroup leaders, tech team, band members, greeters, check-in volunteers, special events and more.
LIFEGROUPS
LifeGroups are the model for how the Church is to function in relationship with God & each other. LifeGroups are our model of discipleship & spiritual growth. LifeGroup Shepherds are trained leaders to help disciple, nurture & grow spiritual relationships within the context of a small group. They are vital to helping our church grow in maturity in Jesus.
PRAISE & WORSHIP
Our team exists to lift up the name of Jesus, our Lord & Savior, with psalms, hymns & spiritual songs. Our desire in leading worship is to give Christ the glory and honor due Him, & to equip the church to worship the Lord in Spirit & in Truth.
MISSIONS
Missions isn’t just an international ministry. God calls us to being missionaries where we call home. So we have opportunities right here in Columbus where you can get involved! Things like teaching at ESL, volunteering at the free Clinics, serving with Grace Powell Sports, involvement with International Friendships or outreach with 1040 Global.
MEN‘S & WOMEN’S EVENTS
Men’s & Women’s Events at Grace are designed for two purposes: 1st is to connect relationally with others at Grace & in the community. 2nd is to encourage growth in their relationship with Jesus. There are events throughout the year for both men and women!
